Students in Year 12 at Macmillan’s Post 16 recently took part in a highly valuable workshop and mock interview session, delivered by Santander as part of the Endeavour Foundation Futures Group.
The event provided an important opportunity for students to experience what a real world interview feels like – something many have never encountered at the age of 16 or 17.
The workshop focused on helping students develop essential interview skills, from preparing for questions to building confidence in presenting themselves professionally. These are vital skills as students begin to consider future pathways such as university, apprenticeships, or entering the workforce.
Jenni Pitt, Recruitment Manager at Santander, led the sessions and spoke highly of the students’ enthusiasm and engagement. She said, “the students were incredibly positive and eager to learn, it was fantastic to see their energy and potential.”
