We’re excited to launch this year’s summer LaunchPad initiative which is designed to re-engage some of our Year 9 students.

LaunchPad is a targeted programme aimed at those who are most in need of support to help them reconnect with learning, gain valuable life experiences, and feel a renewed sense of success and purpose.

LaunchPad offers a mix of engaging and enriching experiences. This term, students took part in paddlesports – building confidence, teamwork, and resilience on the water.

These sessions are not just fun—they’re focused on providing practical skills, raising aspirations, and helping students see the pathways that education can open. The programme helped the students involved to return to school each Friday afternoon feeling more confident, more engaged, and with a clearer sense of their future direction.

We’re incredibly grateful to XPS Group for their generous support and sponsorship of LaunchPad. Their funding has enabled us to cover the costs of transport and swimming tuition, making this opportunity accessible for all selected students.
